Central Chapter
May Central Chapter Dinner
The Central Chapter Dinner and Program for Thursday, May 24th will feature a presentation regarding the new Energy System Integration Facility at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, opening this year.
The program will focus on the NREL-ESIF Research Electrical Distribution Bus Duct (REDB) System. Two representatives of Encore Electric Inc., preconstruction manager Mark Fischbach and preconstruction engineer John McGovern, P.E., LEEP AP, will be the presenters.
According to the Denver Business Journal: "In nine years, Englewood-based Encore Electric Inc. has carved out a niche working on some of Denver's most complex construction projects- such as the Ralph L. Carr Colorado Justice Center and a new facility at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory."
Happy Hour 6:30-7 followed by dinner at 7 then the program.
The dinner meeting will be held at The Den at Fox Hollow 13410 W. Morrison Rd., Lakewood, CO 80228. Fox Hollow public golf course is in Lakewood, on Morrison Road just west of Kipling. The Den is the golf course restaurant.
Cost is $30 per person for dinner and the program with a special discounted student rate of $5.

A depth of experience in both professional engineering and the contracting sectors of the industry have highlighted John's 30 year career (14 at Encore). John's main focus will be to align design efforts with construction activities and overall technical support to Encore Electric. He has depth of knowledge and a sensitivity to the design process.
Directions to Fox Hollow:
Fox Hollow Golf Course is located on Morrison Road 1/2 mile west of Kipling Parkway and 3 1/2 miles east of C470 in Lakewood. Students are welcome, at a special student discounted cost of just $5 for dinner and the program.
Traveling from C470 east or west:
Exit C470 at Morrison Road. Proceed east on Morrison Road for roughly 3.5 miles and find Fox Hollow on the south side of the street.
Traveling from Kipling Parkway north or south:
Turn off Kipling Parkway at Morrison Road. Proceed west on Morrison Road for ½ mile and find Fox Hollow on the south side of the street.
